Your hotel may have a free shuttle service that stops off at the casino. You can get a more affordable hotel further up Lundy's Lane and take advantage of the free shuttles when they are available. Ask ahead.
Parking is disgustingly over-priced all throughout the Falls area. The main parking across from the Canadian Falls though is often left open after dark. Don't park on the roadway for a quick look at night when you can legally park in the lot for free.
The most affordable motels are on the US side on Niagara Falls Blvd. The area isn't pretty but its reasonably safe.
